Dominica's Castle Note Cards feature illustrations by Jacqueline Haltom, a freelance artist, designer, and photographer who has illustrated several children's books in the Independence Kansas area. Her art studio is located in Independence Kansas where she creates original artwork and displays her paintings, prints, and original jewelry designs.
Top: This illustration shows Rella and Minnie?s great, great, granddaughter Larin with her cat in the front yard of today?s Belmont Castle.
Middle: This illustration shows Ferena, Chris, Barbara and Dominica watching the train leave Trin carrying their beloved husband and father away to a strange and new land.
Bottom: This illustration shows Dominica sneaking food to Emmot Dalton at the Montgomery County Poor Farm.
